Virtual Poetry Reading

This is a video I made for a YouTube / Facebook project, 100 Poems in 100 Days, created by Mark Ruddick from the University of Exeter in the UK, and involving poets and spoken word artists from around the world. I thought it was a pretty cool project and was very happy to participate.

Glad you liked it, thank you. We may be able to arrange that, assuming you front the cost of postage….

Henry Miller said the best way to get over a woman is to turn her into literature. Smart man, eh?

Thank you for opening the comments back up for me :)

There is nothing better to me than hearing a poem read by the person who wrote it. I could have read this poem and I would no doubt have loved it, just the way I read it in my head.

Hearing you read it, however, I have a different level of appreciation for it. It’s a beautiful poem, David. The fact that I got to hear you read it is a pleasure that I simply wanted to say thank you for.

So thank you.

And, should the desire to read another ever hit, I’d be a willing audience.

Just sayin’.
