There is nothing better to me than hearing a poem read by the person who wrote it.  I could have read this poem and I would no doubt have loved it, just the way I read it in my head.

Hearing you read it, however, I have a different level of appreciation for it.  It&#039;s a beautiful poem, David.  The fact that I got to hear you read it is a pleasure that I simply wanted to say thank you for.

So thank you.

And, should the desire to read another ever hit, I&#039;d be a willing audience.
