About the Author

Canadian author, David Weedmark

David Weedmark is a Canadian author living in Ottawa.

David has lived and worked across Canada, in occupations as diverse as farm hand and factory worker, to IT consultant for the Federal Government, and sales manager for a high tech company.

His poetry and fiction has sold thousands of copies world-wide. His first collection of poetry, First Stirrings, was nominated for the Governor General of Canada’s Literary Award.

Postcards from Paris, a collection of sketches, poetry and prose, was released in 2006.

His most recent book, The Nature of Trees, was published in the summer of 2009. It is a poetic narrative written while he lived in a remote cabin in the Laurentian mountains in Quebec. The book examines the relationship between the ego and the soul along one’s life path.  It is available at Amazon.com and other booksellers.
